Fee reduction schemes

If you are coming to LSHTM to study a postgraduate taught course starting in 2024, you may be eligible for a 5% discount on your tuition fees.

Intensive master’s degrees

If you are a student from the UK (and have a home fee status), you will be eligible to receive a 5% reduction in your tuition fee if you submit your application by Friday 5 April 2024 and subsequently register onto one of our in-person MSc programmes (some exclusions apply, see detailed terms and conditions).

You must be applying for full-time study on a programme starting in September 2024; be funding your fees yourself; and be a new applicant.

If you meet the above criteria and submit your application by the deadline, you will automatically receive the tuition fee discount.

Distance learning programmes (PG Cert, PG Dip and MSc)

An early payment fee reduction of 5% (up to £880 for a full MSc) is available on any of our distance learning programmes if paid in full before 31st May for the academic year 2024/25.

You will be considered for the fee reduction if you receive an offer for the following programmes: Master’s, PG Diploma, PG Certificate or individual module in Clinical Trials, Epidemiology, Infectious Diseases, Public Health, Global Health Policy and Health in Humanitarian Crises.

Alumni short courses discount

LSHTM alumni who graduated in the last 3 years can benefit from a 20% discount on all short courses taking place in person on online until end of July 2025 (with the exception of the Professional Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, the Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing and the Professional Certificate in Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacovigilance course) .

If you are interested in applying for a short course,  please visit our short courses section and submit an application to your course of choice by the deadline date stated on the course page.  Admittance onto the course will be dependent on availability of places. Once you have submitted your application you should inform the Short Courses team  (shortcourses@lshtm.ac.uk) which year you graduated (2021, 2022 or 2023). To be eligible for the discount, you must have completed a Research Degree or a Master's degree (intensive or distance learning). Does not include the MSc Sexual & Reproductive Health Policy & Programming.
