Advancing policy change for disability inclusion in the UK
In this webinar we will hear from staff at the Disability Policy Centre, the UK’s first disability-led think tank dedicated to the advancement of disability-inclusive policies. Speakers will give short presentations about the work of the Disability Policy Centre for disabled people in the UK. There will be a particular focus on its research to support disabled people’s political representation and address employment disparities. There will be opportunities to ask questions to the speakers and the webinar will close with reflections from the speakers about what the policy priorities of the current UK government need to be to achieve meaningful disability inclusion. The webinar is chaired by Dr Mark Carew.
