This will be an engaging 60 minute online webinar exploring ​how to approach working with traditional healers to support transformation of beliefs about disability at a community level. ​ 

This event is open to everyone with interest or experience in implementing programmes for children with developmental disability and their caregivers and will share learning from the Ubuntu Hub programmes.  

The webinar will include a presentation from Kupenda and Kuhenza for the Children about their disability training programme for traditional healers. They will share the approach to training, the impact they have observed and the lessons they have learnt.

​This will be followed by an interactive discussion with attendees and Q&A.​ 

Attendees will learn about:

  1. The importance of working with traditional healers to transform community beliefs about disability
  2. Approaches to disability awareness training for traditional healers
  3. Have the opportunity to share experiences, ideas and learning with global expert panel
