But we are in unchartered territory. Never before have vaccines been developed at this speed, billions of doses need to be made and accepted, and the world faces an 'infodemic'.

Speakers
Mark Jit is Professor of Vaccine Epidemiology and a member of LSHTM’s Vaccine Centre and Centre for the Mathematical Modelling of Infectious Diseases.
Pauline Paterson is Assistant Professor at LSHTM and Co-Director of the Vaccine Confidence Project.
Beate Kampmann is Professor of Paediatric Infection & Immunity, and Director of LSHTM's Vaccine Centre.
The session will be hosted by broadcast journalist and former Al Jazeera news anchor, Felicity Barr.
