Drone mapping for vector-borne diseases: Perceptions and practicalities
This webinar will present the current guidelines and practical steps in the use of low-cost drone technology in surveillance of vector-borne disease, in addition to addressing the acceptability of drones and the importance of engaging local communities. Presentations from speakers will be followed by an interactive discussion with the panellists and audience.
This session is relevant to vector biologists and entomologists who are interested in understanding both practicalities and social considerations of the use of novel technology that is used to understand ecological features of vector habitats.
