This seminar will present the methods from an impact evaluation (using difference in difference methods) alongside a process evaluation (that follows the MRC framework) in three districts of Uttar Pradesh, India. The evaluation is of a social franchising for maternal health project (delivered by one international and one national NGO) that sought to improve utilisation and quality of maternal health care through engagement with the private sector.
