Between 2016-2022, UK funders have committed £464.4m towards international development research to tackle AMR globally, through more than 25 strategic initiatives. This seminar will provide a high-level overview of UK commitments and major UK-funded initiatives in international development research on AMR, UK and global coordination mechanisms on AMR research, and summarise strategic research gaps to address in the future as identified in the recently released UKCDR report. We will then provide a summary of current and upcoming research opportunities on AMR to equip researchers with an overview of the current funding landscape on this topic.
