Reusing pharmaceutical data to understand AMR: the data challenge and prizes
In this seminar, speakers will showcase prize-winning research, explore the Vivli AMR data repository, and share strategies for data analysis and collaboration.

The AMR Surveillance Data Challenge is a global competition that encourages the creative reuse of surveillance data to advance our understanding of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). Originally launched in 2019 as the Wellcome Trust ReUse Prize, the 2024 edition is sponsored by GARDP, Paratek, Pfizer, and Vivli.
In this seminar, we will showcase prize-winning work from LSHTM researchers and discuss the strengths and limitations of the Vivli AMR Data Repository for broader research applications. As we prepare for the next competition, we’ll explore strategies for data analysis and collaboration to maximize impact.
