Ubuntu webinar: Programme adaptations across contexts
This insightful webinar explores innovative adaptations of the Ubuntu programmes across diverse global contexts, sharing presentations from practitioners who have successfully modified these evidence-based interventions while preserving the programmes core values.
This will be an engaging 60-minute online webinar sharing three innovative adaptations of the Ubuntu programmes.
This event is open to everyone with interest or experience in implementing programmes for children with developmental disability and their caregivers, and will share learning from the Ubuntu Hub programmes.
The webinar will include 3 short presentations sharing the following programmes:
- Ummeed Child Development Center, India: Integration of Baby Ubuntu and Ubuntu programs for the Indian context
- Encompass, United Kingdom: South-to-North learning: Adapting Baby Ubuntu for UK implementation
- PATH Mozambique: Developing an accessible programme for communities with limited literacy
Each presentation will detail the adaptation methodology, programme implementation, and key insights gained.
The session will conclude with an interactive Q&A discussion, fostering knowledge exchange among participants.
Attendees will learn about:
- Methodologies for programme adaptation to meet context specific needs
- Different delivery approaches for diverse content to meet the needs of different populations
- Have the opportunity to share experiences, ideas and learning with global expert panel
